My partners cali, has less than 10k on the cl;ock, & the clutch has , rather than worn, in the words ogf the mechanic, ...fallen apart.The 6 month warranty has run out & i am facing a bill of %XA3500 plus . Within the warranty period the crank snapped, through a poorly hardened part. I reckon i have redress against the dealer, but I have to prove what I am saying.. Has anyone any similar stories on Guzzi California?
I bought a '76 Le Mans in 1995, after some searching and found a fantastic one owner m/c which was in very good condition, re-painted in classy red and white and every bolt stainless, copper-slipped and torqued correctly. Contrary to legend this bike has the original switchgear, etc, and had at one point in it's early life been run from Durham to Kishorn (N of Inverness), left outside for two weeks, and started first time for the run home.
