anyone had this.constant low battery .failure to turn engine over without decompressor.battery replaced (70 quid!) just the same!could it be a starter motor fault? bike has done 16000 miles.any ideas before i spend a fortune?sometimes it blows a ten amp fuse on start up and you have to use a spanner to get the seat off and its a pain on a a garage forecourt in the dark.the bike is charging at 14.9 volts so its not the alternator.any ideas.ps had r1 before this and the ktm beats it hands down for fun.highly recommended and my son has just sold ...
Yes i know this is a 520 site but i just want to bring to anyones attention about weak batteries on new 05 models . My mate who owns a 450 and myself 525 has had our batteries fail just lately .Im just posting this topic cos i wonder if anyone else has had the same problem ?
