Kawasaki%X92s ZX-10R evokes thoughts of rip-roaring power and handling best suited to race circuits. While that may have been the case of the original 2004 model, subsequent models have been diluted to the point where ZX-10R is regarded as a decent on the road superbike but not quite in touch with the competition of the latest Blade, techno-laden R1 and...
just back from the MOT test. got a full Arrow system fitted. came with race and road cans. Road can only gets fitted for MOT tests and has passed for the last 2 years. Its E marked, TUV tested etc and sold as road legal. BUT.....new MOT rules effective June 04 state quote" A silencer that is in such a condition OR is of such a type that the noise emitted is clearly in excess of that which would be produced by a similar machine fitted with a standard silencer in average condition" unquote. Despite only doing about 100 miles ...
Like so many motorcycles the Kawasaki ZX-9R began life as a sports machine, didn%X92t quite cut it and ended up as an excellent sporty sports-tourer. It%X92s indecently fast and should put 175+mph on the clock with minimal hassle. Early Kawasaki ZX-9Rs were heavy but from the %X91C%X92 variant of 1998 onwards it%X92s light enough to be a capable if not...
For many owners the Kawasaki ZX-12R combines the best aspects of the Honda Blackbird or Hayabusa, but mixes in a dose of good old fashioned lairy fun. The Kawasaki ZX-12R is a beefy, roomy sports-tourer, with an engine that keeps tempting you to open it up. Decent build quality too.

ZX10R Frame Crack My son has a 06 ZX10 and it has developed a crack through the weld on the left hand side swingarm. Having worked in engineering for 30 years I have never seen a "good" weld crack! Are there any more instances of this out there? If so report them. This could have been life treatening if there was a total failure whilst riding!!! Will update site if & when I get more details - Ride Safe.

The new Kawasaki ZX-10R scores an easy five out of five; it surely must be the fastest production 1000cc bike of the current crop. But this ZX-10R is not all about Kawasaki%X92s new blistering engine and head-banging attitude, it%X92s controllable and handles much better than the previous ZX-10R and despite the blistering pace is actually easier to ride. Not for...
Anyone know of any other z1000 forums. I know of www.riderforums which is mainly american. Ive been using a couple of uk based ones recently but my internet went pop and lost all my favourite websites and now I cant locate them, not even with a search engine
The Kawasaki ZX-10R is sold as the ultimate track bike %X96 the 2004/05 ZX-10R was one of Kawasaki%X92s first machines after the firm gave itself a kick up the arse in 2002. The 10R%X92s one wild ride and an absolute weapon in experienced hands. It%X92s light, makes massive power and handles superbly on the track %X96a bit of a handful...
