Anyone know of any other z1000 forums. I know of www.riderforums which is mainly american. Ive been using a couple of uk based ones recently but my internet went pop and lost all my favourite websites and now I cant locate them, not even with a search engine
Is it possible to get braided hoses 2 lines for the front and 1 for the bck it seems everywhere i look they only do the race set up ive a 2006 Z750 any help would be great cheers martin...
I just bought a 3500 mile 2004 Z1000 after 10 years of 3 blades and a ZX9R. It was supposed to slow me down - hmmmmmmmmm. I love everything about the thou except the totally crap suspension (even the rubbish front brake doesn't bother me) - I chased a mate on an (old) R1 around some bumpy, hairy mountain bends in Scotland recently "at a a pace" and my heart was in my mouth all the way through - pogoing everywhere. My 2001 Blade (which I still have) would have floated through it serenely without fuss or drama. Has ANYONE ...

Looking to get a Z1000 from a CBR600RR as I want something I can do more than 40 miles on without having to have a wrist replacement operation! However, I've heard that the seats are a complete nightmare and the bike isn't the best if you're quite tall (6'3"). Is this true? If so can anyone recommend where to get a replacement seat from?

A single seat cowl, DHM crash bungs, a skimpy little tailtidy complete with built in indie's but the cherry on the cake was the full Akroprovic system (4-2-1). Awsome !!!! Fantastic ! 10 out of 10 on the grin factor. I got no complaints apart from the front brake bein a bit slack and the wear rate on the rear tyre, but hey..... You cant have your cake and eat it can you ? Will braided hoses on the front brake make much difference ?

Hi - I've got a dodgy right leg (hit & run result!) and I sat on the Z1000 at the NEC. The style does it for me but I would find it a little cramped. Anyone know of any accessories i.e seat or rearsets that would give me more room? Appreciate any help, thanks
I have owned a kawasaki Z750 for 7months and im looking to improve the brakes does any one know what callipers i can buy that will fit straight on the bike and where i can get them?? so far i have changed the indicators put an ermax screen on and tidy up the back end with a pillion cover!The bike is beginning to look the part but the brakes and the shocks are next on my hit list!!! This is one hell of a bike who needs a Z1000.
