BMW K1200S CRASH - ABS SERVO BRAKE FAILURE? I SURVIVED, JUST, BUT WILL BE DISABLED FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE The brakes on my BMW K1200S locked the road wheel[s] solid under no provocation whatsoever. I simply carressed the front brake lever ever so lightly. I also released the brake lever with immediate effect. However, the brakes continued to remain locked I believe that the BMW K1200S ABS servo brake system most probably failed Does any body know of others who have suffered the same fate? Does anybody find the seat on this bike unbearable. I cannot fault the bike in any other respect but the seat after about 100 miles feels like a board. BMW attitude is !. You test rode it you must have known what it was going to be like. .2 If its that bad then they will probably change it on the updated model whenever that comes out. Not much of a consolation for some immenent long distance journeys
It%X92s hard, objectively, to see the point of the HP2. It%X92s a 105bhp, 175kg off-roader that costs almost %XA311,000. Yes, it does have some clever technology like air suspension, but on the flip side its use as a road bike is limited, which is why the factory now offers free 17-inch rims and tyres with each new HP2. It%X92s still hard to see the point, even so. HP stands for %X91High Performance%X92 by the way.
