yo folks, just put trackday plastics on the bike. Anyone know what the minimum legal requirement is for me to run it on the road in daylight (quicker than changing it back to roadstuff)? Local MX dealer reckoned numberplate, tail'n' brake light plus horn. ?? It's an 05 bike so obviously no need for MOT in normal circs. But do I need to get it VOSA checked to run it with the trackplastics? cheers y'all

hi all, i've had my 2003 r6 since Dec 03, bought ex-demo now with 9.5k on the clock. Fitted with K&N, powercommander (custom mapped) and Akrapovic end can. I've got a bastard of an intermittent problem - stalling and surging under 5,000 revs. It happens either on the overrun, or blipping the throttle on changing down or on coming to a halt, so not when I'm revving. Also, sometimes the bike takes a few goes to restart once it's stalled. Removed powercommander in case this was the source, but the bike's misbehaved since then, tho again only intermittently. I've got a '04 XJR1300 and i've got the chance of an second-hand Akropovic full titanium race system 4-2-1! Should i go for it? Is it worth swopping the standard system? Would i need to do any mods? I previously had a '97 model with a full Remus road legal system and it sounded great, but i prefered the look of the original! I think i've got to take the Akropovic, haven't i???

I'm after an aftermarket number plate bracket to replace the HUGE original. It needs to have a light to make it legal and it needs to fit the original indicators which rules the R&G one out. I know Dynomite do one but it's a bit pricey at %XA375 + %XA38 P&P! Any recommendations? Thanks Richard P.S. Also need to get a small number plate made up, again any recommendations welcome.

Just bought a pair of these,not got them on yet as ive still got some life in the dunlops,has anyone tried them,their almost slicks,(but are legal). Just that Ive never heard of them.Cheers,roll on April!!!!
