TT 600 has been in the garage but the garage roof has been leaking and now I can't get the engine management light to go out. The bike seems to be running ok, has anybody had a similar problem or do I have to go to the dealer to get a fix.

Hello, I've just uploaded a new Triumph website, the Triumph Motorcycles Archive. It is very much in the initial stages but would be grateful for any pictures or information that people could mail me to progress it. There is a link on the website to email me. http://www.triumpharchive.plus.com Cheers Lee

I have just changed my chain and sprockets from stock. The stock size is a 14 front and 42 rear. I had changed to a 44 rear last year and loved the extra accelleration. A year on, I have decided on a 14 front but a 47 rear. This requires a new chain as the largest rear sprocket you can have with the standard length chain is a 45 tooth. So I bought my Renthal hard anodised rear, standard front and Tsubaki gold chain from B&C Express for a total of %XA3115. Had them fitted and then tried it out. ...

Well, it seems that, despite MCN's protestations that we would all eventually like the new discussion boards, nobody can be bothered to navigate to this page much anymore for hints, tips and TT owner bonding sessions. Ho hum, shall have to investigate the other sites people are using. In the meantime, I have to announce the sad news that I am selling my TT600 in order to help fund a sabbatical later this year. After careful thought as to whether I keep her, sell at the end of the summer, and risk no purchasers, or try and turn her into ...

Help! Long story but i'll shorten it! Had bike recalled last year like all others, when i got her back i found engaging neutral difficult (not happened before!). Not sure what was done with the clutch cable?? bought a 'dog-leg' clutch lever & put on - no mucking about, undo bolt, losen cable & change levers - simple! Sit on bike, fire up, into gear - CLUNK & stall. Hmm, try again, clunk & stall. This happened for approx 3 weeks now (garage in a different place to house so not easy access). Rang Pidcocks, N'ttm only to be told ...

Hi everyone, I've not posted for a few months now due to baby duties. Boy, has it gone quiet here (sounds of whistling wind and tumbleweed blowing around). Can anyone offer advice with my servicing dilemma? My bike is now (over)due for its 2 year/8k service. Scenario is that I've only done 1800 miles since Nov 2002 (DIY and baby duties). I can see the sense in replacing brake fluid, coolant etc, but can see no justification for dealer lining his pocket doing valve thingy adjustments for current milage. I'm intending on keeping the bike for at least another 2 ...

Well I have to say that I simply could not wait any longer and have taken the descision to sell my beloved TT for a GSXR750 K4. I will miss the old girl she has been great and I will always talk up the bike no matter. Thanks to all those that I have spoken to over the last couple of years. Suppose I need to make some new acquaintences on the Suzuki page now. Keep the TT alive, sorry I could not but its time for a change.
