Ive been deciding on buying my first new bike and recived alot of ribbing of friends along the the way. I really like the deauville and pan european but have been told that these are "old mens" bikes and no good for new riders. Im not interested in getting my knee down and seeing how fast I can go as the prosepect of comfortable touring and the need to commute is more important to me.
