I have a Buell XB12XT and I'm looking for a recommendation on tyres. I raced for a few years on the short circuits and roads over here in Ireland, I dont care if I have to put new tyres on every 1000 miles as I'm well used to buying a couple of sets a month! Currently have Pirelli strada (came fitted) but feel I'm at there limit, I like fast road riding, wont be doing any track days but will be on the odd green lane, gravel track when I take the wee lad away camping. Was considering the new ...

Michelin Pilot Road 3 tyres, %XA3235 (approx)Miles covered/time: 1000 miles/six months What%X92s good: I tried a set of these Michelins on a Honda CBF1000 that I was running over winter a while back and they were amazing. Sticking them on my old 1998 Honda CBR600F has transformed the braking, handling and wet grip. The bike is so much better than it was...

Just ordered the new Bridgestone BT-T30 which replaces the BT-023. Its a real mine field looking for tyres, but I decided that I anit no GP racer so these should do the trick. The Dunlops have done 6000 with plenty left but were always rubbish when damp or raining.
is the pilot power 2ct discontinued? what would be a good fast road / track tyre?
hi this is a message for the tyre doctor. As we had some nice weather this weeknd I wanted to take my bike out for a ride.as I was wheeling it out my garage I noted something in my tyre.to my horror I noted that a 40mm screw had completly embeded itself in my rear tyre.to say I was gutted was an understatement.not only could I not go touring today but id now might have to buy a new tyre.the screw was at the very edge of the tyre and did not puncture it.i think it had traveled all ...
Bridgestone T30 tyres, %XA3200 approxTester: Andy DownesMiles/time: 2400 miles/two monthsWhat%X92s good: These slot into Bridgestone%X92s range as sports touring tyres for road riders who cover big mileage in all conditions; a role in which they excel. The T30s replace the BT023 and are a huge improvement. I%X92ve used them on my Ducati Multistrada 1200 and they gave huge confidence in...
My Honda CB1300 runs a standard rear tyre of 180/55 I would like to replace that with a 190 section, would that size tyre upset the handling in any way?
