FZ headlights1 Fazer

Hi guys, I ride a 2008 FZ1 Fazer and have justretired to southern Spain and have brought my bike over with me. My question is... is there a way to convert my headlights to lhd or do I need to invest in new headlights?  Thanks in advance, Taksi. p.s. my 65th birthday prezzie was a track day at Oulton Park, loved it!

Old Fart's first bike...

From a brief glance down the page I can see this is a well worn topic, so please be patient with me...I'm 58 this year - going on 15 and just passed mod.2.  Not in any particular hurry to buy a bike and enjoying ogling the many beautiful bikes for sale.  Have a potential budget of up to 5k, which provides plenty of choice, however...My heart - has fallen in love with the Aprilia Shiver 750.  To my eyes this bike is simply beautiful.  Read all the reviews about potential snags.  My main issue is that of resale - I ...

NI certificates not valid in England?

Hi can someone help me please, I have recently passed my CBT, passed my theory & hazard perception, passed my off road manoeuvres test and had lessons etc for my on road riding and am at test standard, however i have just moved from Northern Ireland to England a couple of days ago and have been told that my CBT is valid but all my other certificates aren't so I will have to start again. Is this the case? I appreciate that there is a difference between the DVA and the DVSA but ALL my certs are through DVA including ...

Hearing damage through riding

Hello everyone, My name is Louie Amphlett and I'm both a student of Product Design and a keen biker. Currently I am conducting a research project into progressive hearing loss through riding a bike. The outcome will aim to develop a better solution than is currently available. I would very much appreciate the opinions of yourselves. I have composed an online survey too, which would be fantastic if you can spare a couple of minutes. It can be found here: http://bit.ly/1xvfvicThanks in advance, Louie

Decision To Be Made

So, I have a decision to make: The mighty Speed Trip is approaching 10 years old and 24000 miles. While it's in good nick (I've looked after it), it's starting to look a bit ragged around the edges, so do I chop it in for a new one or spend some %XA3 fixing what needs doing?I quite like the look of the R, but I reckon that I'd get about %XA33500 part ex leaving about %XA37500 to find :( where as I reckon spending a lot less would bring the S/trip up to scratch. So what do I reckon needs doing?1/ 24k ...

Honda CBR600 - chain slack

Hi,I'm looking for answers to what should be a very simple question.  When setting the chain slack on a Honda CBR600F 2006 do you measure the total movement up and down, or just the amount of slack when pushing the chain up from its rest position.  My manual asks for 25 to 35 mm.  But if I just push up on the chain at its mid point it just clashes with the bottom of the swinging arm before you get to required amount.  If I pull down slightly then push up I can set it to within the range without ...

Honda xr 125 won't start

Right. I rode my bike for the first two days with the choke on. The I Lost my keys and had to force open the fuel can and put it back in and I sealed it around with duck tape. I was riding it then all of a sudden it cut out. I asked my dad to bring a booster, put it on the batteries and it started up but then after about 10 seconds it just cut out and it sounded like something jammed. We got a new battery and a new starter solenoid ...

Givi E460N Top Box problem

Hi - I've bought a new Givi E460N Top box and Givi rack with an M3 Monokey plate.  I've fitted the rack and M3 plate, and now find the top box lock won't click in and engage properly with the protruding lip on the top plate.  The top box lock seems to be working ok, the parts are slifding back and forth without hindrance (I've greased them just in case) but the lock mechanism doesn't insert into the raised lip on the plate properly.  There are no obvious obstructions, and the plate doesn't look warped. Have any of you guys come ...
