I've started having problems with my honda cbr500r where when I upshift from 1st to 2nd under decent acceleration the gear shift lever will suddenly go loose. This results in not being able to shift to third unless I unload the engine a lot (i.e completely release the throttle).Problem occurs only between 1st and 2nd, so I dont think it is the return springs. Anyone else have a better idea?
Help the right panier on my 2006 Triumph Sprint 1050 The locking mechanism is faulty. It appears that to access the workings i need to remove the inner part of the double skinned pannier but it seems to be fastened in by some sort of plastic rivets. Does anyone know how to access the mechanism or if they can be repaired or know anyone who repairs them. they are too expensive to simply throw away. Any help would be much appreciated.regards Steve.

Well! The old lexmoto's at it again! I checked my brake pads the other day and noticed the front's were starting to get worn, so i changed them today. Now, the brakes seem to stick and i have stupidly soft brake lever. Bled the brakes and there was no air in them, and still have a soft brake lever and they're sticking.I have also cleaned the calipers and lubricated with fresh brake fluid (obviously before fitting the new pads, and allowed to dry). Bloody annoying if you ask me! Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated.
I just removed the battery from my Ducati S2R after a couple of month being in the garage.Empty and in need of a good recharge, I recharged it for a couple of hours. After putting it back in the bike, all the instruments went on, lights, etc but the red oil light stayed on.While pressing the engine start button, I could only hear a click (instead of the big machine roaring), and the yellow oil light turning on every time I hit the button.Any idea what it could be???%X85
Good Evening everyone,Getting my bike ready to put away, its cleaned, lubed, on paddock stands, I now need to open the seat to remove the battery so I can put it on chargeTrouble is, I can't get the lock mechanism to open, the key doesn't turn much to open it usually, its always been a bit resistant. Pushing down where the latch pin is located isn't helping, tried maneuvering the seat cover (no pillion seat) whilst turning the key but to no avail. You can lift the cover up to see the mechanism but I can't see anything moving when ...

Having solved most of the problems, I have one final one.I have replaced both ignition coils and points, the LH points give 12v when open and the spark plug sparks. however the RH points show 0v when open, if I remove the wires I get 12v, reconnect the wires and I get 0v & no spark.Any ideas?
