is there anyone else out there that has had a con rod fail on there bike at 12k and get no joy out of triumph The mech who is repairing it has seen a few go please help

Anyone out there got a set of wheels for an 03 triple digital dash drive model.Having areal job locating some.
Can anyone suggest any suspension settings for a 15 stone rider. I'm on the standard settings on my 2004 Speed Triple but the rear in particular seems to chatter over most bumps in the road. I have read that these bikes are hard to set up for an ideal ride.

Going back to Europe next year (06') for three weeks, but bringing missus this time. My next bike has to be a bike with character as i intend to keep it for a very long time. It has always been between four bikes. BMW R1150GS (too expensive to buy),Aprilia SL Falco (Cost of spares,servicing and question of Italian plastics), The Speed Trip (955i) or the Sprint ST (05'). I have whittled it down to the two Triumphs but really need to know what the Speed Trip is like to live with on a day to day basis. i.e. pillion comfort,luggage, ...
