i wonder if you can help. I bought my yamaha diversion 600 s in November 2011. Now that the weather has turned colder I am getting a leak from the breather hose that comes from the air box. It looks like a creamy mix of oil and water. I have cleaned the air box but the oil/water continues to leak. The bike is a T reg 1999 and to be honest i am not sure of the service history. Anybody got one or had one of these thingy's? I got one for winter transport and it has surprised me and many car (and some bike) owners with it's performance. Per--for--mance?? yes, I know it's a big word for a scooter but it's half true. Anyway does anybody know how to switch the damn V-belt indicator light off?! Cheers, D.
I`ve just about done 2500 miles on the MT, superb fun all the way, when my m8 noticed my rear light was rattling. It turned out that the Led`s inside had vibrated loose. Took it to the dealers and after 20 minutes the mechanic managed to get into the light only to find that it`s a sealed unit. Bit of a design fault there, so if you get the same problem, to save time, just get a new light ordered on ya warranty.
How times have changed. This forum has been open for 2 years and I am the first poster. Recenty, I contacted Micron, to ask about new baffles for my spannies, and the customer advisor didn't even know what an RD was! The RD range MADE Micron!!! Still Smokin'!!
My son has just bought an XJ 600 Diversion. If we run the engine until its up to working temperature and then turn it off, we can hear a strange noise coming from the front top of the engine. This noise is best described as hot oil dripping onto a hot surface. I know the Divvy is oil assisted cooling but is this noise usual?
I've got a '04 XJR1300 and i've got the chance of an second-hand Akropovic full titanium race system 4-2-1! Should i go for it? Is it worth swopping the standard system? Would i need to do any mods? I previously had a '97 model with a full Remus road legal system and it sounded great, but i prefered the look of the original! I think i've got to take the Akropovic, haven't i???
