MV Agusta Dragster 800 (2014-current)

The Brutale 800 Dragster is a very specific type of bike for a very specific purpose. Don%X92t expect it to go touring or suffer a daily commute. It%X92s a proper Sunday show-off, at home honing about streets and back lanes, using its banging midrange and sorted throttle response to boss traffic with extravagant disdain. It%X92s as good as its looks;...

BMW F800GS Adventure (2013-current)

BMW set out to turn its 800GS into an authentic adventure bike and on this first showing have certainly achieved just that. Basically it%X92s an 800GS with a bigger (underseat) tank, extended bodywork and a host of options. Think of it as a %X913/4 version of the 1200 Adventure%X92 (even though, at 800cc, it%X92s actually 2/3) and you should get...

Lexmoto LSM125

The LSM125 is perfectly capable 125cc supermoto, fine for a couple of years use before moving on to a bigger bike.It does everything as you'd expect, it's just not a very memorable bike.

Kawasaki KLX250 (2009-current)

Kawasaki has revived a dead class of motorcycle %X96 the cheap and cheerful trail bike. Soft power, a novice friendly chassis and low running costs are completely at odds with the hardcore enduro styling. It%X92s as happy getting back and forth to work every day as it lolloping along green lanes.

Bikes

Triumph Tiger 800 (2010-current)

Triumph%X92s new Tiger 800 is the slightly more basic, more road-orientated and novice-friendly (not to mention cheaper) version of its two, new, three cylinder dual-purpose machines. The other is the Tiger 800XC. It%X92s a great bike, too %X96 impressing immediately with excellent ergonomics, and a superbly linear and progressive power delivery.

Bikes

KTM 1290 Super Duke (2013-current)

It%X92s a massive leap forward over the old Super Duke which was far from a bad bike. The new 1.3 litre KTM has arm-ripping power, the best mid-range and roll on speed figures we%X92ve ever tested and is the most powerful naked bike on the market. It also has a flip side. It%X92s relatively light, easy to ride and perfectly...

FZR 1000 exup genesis

Hi guy's, im going to buy a G reg yamaha fzr1000 exup genesis, in early february. I have ridden it up and down a short bumpy road once already and I fell in love. The immense surge of power it has just off the clutch, above tickover with little throttle is amazing. Is it a good bike? Do they have any major problems i should look for? Its got very low mileage for the year.

Kawasaki VN2000 (2004-current)

Cruising is all about having a relaxed mindset and there%X92s no better way to ease yourself into that state than the big Kawasaki Vulcan VN2000. It ticks all the right boxes %X96 lots of black paint, lots of chrome, a huge 200-section rear tyre and, of course, a lolloping wildebeest of an engine.

Bikes

Suzuki DR125SM (2008-2012)

It does what is says on the tin but with some added extra style. The four stoke motor is virtually bullet proof if on the slow side and old compared to the two stoke competition. But it%X92s dependable, easy to ride, cheap to run, light, functional but with added extra Supermoto styling.

Bikes

WK 125R (2011-current)

The Taiwanese-built WK 125R is an entry-level 125cc motorcycle for British riders on a budget. Imported by the same team behind Quadzilla Quads, it%X92s a cheap, cheerful and functional alternative to more expensive European or Japanese learner machines. It%X92s a little basic, quite heavily outmoded and unlikely to last a lifetime, but it%X92s also fairly cool, fun to ride and...
