Daytona 955 - Pillion/touring comfort? Please comment.

Hi allI currently ride a ZZR600 both singly and 2 up, both blasting lanes and a bit of touring.I am now ready to step up a notch and go for a bigger bike and was considering the ZX-9R (c or e)which would suit my needs, but, I have discovered the ocular delight of the Daytona 955i (2001 onwards) and am now in a dilema.I know the ZX9 can do what I want, but, I'm having trouble finding one at the right price and it is insurance group 16.I have sourced a ...

Sprint ST (1050) mechanical failure

I'm writing to inform all Sprint ST owners of information i've received in connection with 'mechanical failure' found after an accident i had 6 weeks ago. For the record my bike is (was) 15 months old, had done 5K miles and had been lovingly looked after. However, whilst doing approx 60mph my rear wheel simply totally locked up putting me into a skid i was unable to control. After spending 2 weeks in hospital after sustaining multiple broken bones, i have now received the engineers report from my insurers. It states the siezure of the rear wheel was due ...
