Suzuki SV650/S (1999-current)

The Suzuki SV650 is a straightforward middleweight V-twin all-rounder which proves you don%X92t have to be boring to be practical. The SV650 is versatile, affordable, a doddle to ride (making it popular with inexperienced riders) and yet is a hoot to muck about on - or even to race.   - SV650 Ultimate buyer's guide - everything you need to know when...

Moving Away another dance job abroad, this time I'm on land not on a ship. Going away for 9 months possibly a year to Portugal. Can't take the bike with me unfortunately so it's up for sale. SV650s, Y reg, 36k, open to offers now as I need to get it sold before I go at the begining of Jan! It's in perfect condition and of course it's had alot of love and care from me. Please email me if you're serious about buying this bike from me. Thanks.

advice please!

I'm planning on doing my test soon and have been looking around to see which bike would be best as my first. I like the look of the SV and i've heard good reports on it. I haven't had a chance to get to a suzuki showroom yet to try one out so i wondered if anyone could advise whether it'd be practical for me? having problems cos i'm only 5 ft 3 ins (can't even touch the ground on some bikes!) and, how can i put this... lets say i'm "generously proportioned up top", so have issues with leaning ...

An SV Odyssey

There are few things more satisfying than improving your ability at doing something you love. This is the story of one such instance and the star of the show is an SV650S. I'm just back from a touring holiday in Scotland on my SV with my two mates who were both on R1's. I was intimidated before we left as both of them were on such ballistic machinery, and both of them are fast riders, but I'd never been put under any pressure to step it up beyond my limits before so was quite happy to play tail end Charlie ...

My bike has a 700cc racing tuned engine in and as I am clueless, I don't know if this is reletive to the problems or not. I started having problems which suggested the head gasket had gone. I had this replaced and it cant have been that, My bike is backfiring a lot on low revs, using loads of petrol, I can also smell fuel when I ...

Help info needed!
