hi, just having got my first bike, 03 tdm 900, I would like to have both bulbs on at the same time.Is this wise, and can a relay be changed simply to do it? thanks gaz
Very nice, that this forum already exists. I tried to look for forums in spanish (I live in Argentina), too, but no success.. yet. I have ordered a new TDM900 and I have to wait some days to get it. Here things take time, customs papers a.s.o. They will also install a Lo Jack tracking system on it. Now, while waiting, I would like to hear stories from you experienced TDM riders, how well it lasts and keeps it's shape and condition as kilometers pass by :) What is the area where the first problems might appear? Anyone can tell ...
My TDM has covered just over 1000miles, but I've noticed that the right hand side downpipe, (looking from the front rearwards) is not "blueing" like the other one. Its a sort speckled brown/bronze. Does this suggest that the fueling's not right, or are they all like that?
I currently have an 02 CBR600F which I've had a year. Had 600's for a while now fancy summat different. Tested an 03 TDM 900 today and was quite impressed but was only around town, very few bends etc. What are they like on the open road, top end twisites etc? Get the feeling it takes some get used to but certainly put more of a smile on my face at slower speeds. Love the CBR but want a change. Any comments, tips, advice would be appreciated before I part with any moola!
Does anyone know of an after market rear shock for the TDM that is a) stiffer b) remotely adjustable I quite regularly carry a pillion and ajusting the current shock with the supplied C-spanner is an a**e.
I bought my TDM mid last year and have just finished my first winter on it. It has held up really badly compared to my previous bike, an er-5 of all things. Does anyone kow of a company that does Stainless bolts \ fixings for the TDM. Most such companies seam to only do kits for sports bikes as a fashion excessory instead of bikes more frequently used for all year round riding. Please don't let this thread turn into another "Proper biker" tread.
