Kawasaki%X92s ZX-10R evokes thoughts of rip-roaring power and handling best suited to race circuits. While that may have been the case of the original 2004 model, subsequent models have been diluted to the point where ZX-10R is regarded as a decent on the road superbike but not quite in touch with the competition of the latest Blade, techno-laden R1 and...
ZX10R Frame Crack My son has a 06 ZX10 and it has developed a crack through the weld on the left hand side swingarm. Having worked in engineering for 30 years I have never seen a "good" weld crack! Are there any more instances of this out there? If so report them. This could have been life treatening if there was a total failure whilst riding!!! Will update site if & when I get more details - Ride Safe.
Hi All, 1st time here and for a reason!! Last week i have discovered Cracking on the frame of My ZX10R, I have been searching the net and i have discovered other cases of the same thing!!!!. Does any one else now of this happening and if so details would be nice, also i thought others can see mine & lets hope its not common guys. kei10R
The new Kawasaki ZX-10R scores an easy five out of five; it surely must be the fastest production 1000cc bike of the current crop. But this ZX-10R is not all about Kawasaki%X92s new blistering engine and head-banging attitude, it%X92s controllable and handles much better than the previous ZX-10R and despite the blistering pace is actually easier to ride. Not for...
The Kawasaki ZX-10R is sold as the ultimate track bike %X96 the 2004/05 ZX-10R was one of Kawasaki%X92s first machines after the firm gave itself a kick up the arse in 2002. The 10R%X92s one wild ride and an absolute weapon in experienced hands. It%X92s light, makes massive power and handles superbly on the track %X96a bit of a handful...
Slightly more user friendly than the psycho C-model Kawasaki ZX-10R of 2004/05 but the latest Kawasaki ZX-10R is still a pretty extreme, track focused missile. Competitive in the 1000cc sports category, so obscenely fast and fine handling. Kawasaki ZX-10R headlights not to everyone%X92s taste visually but it%X92s a look that gets cars out of the way sharpish.
I own a 2003 ike.R1 and I'm very happy with it's performance, build quality and it's looks but I'd like to buy a newer bike. I found an '05 ZX10R in a local dealer for %XA36000 and I like the look and feel of it but I've also seen an '05 R1 for the same price. Both have 0 miles on them, I like them both but which one is better? I'd like some feedback from other MCN users who have made a similar change of machine to help me make my mind up. Cheers Paul
I have a crashed gsxr 750 on an 05 plate. For Sale. I can be contacted on billsski@yahoo.co.uk Theres plenty of panel damage, but still runs, and Meta alarm\imob still working ok. Can send pics if need be. Can be redone as a winter track day project. A Devo'd gixer owner.
anyone tried new tyres yet , what are they and how do you rate them?
Hi Have listed before under Bad Vibrations and had a couple of valuable responses but still to no resovle. I'm now certain that it's an engine noise, kinda like a piston chatter noise between 3000 and 4000rpm. This is especially when you hold the revs to 4000. Is everyone elses engine sweet as a nut or are other people noticing this. I had an R1 before this which was very smooth and is making this bike seem 10 years older!!! This is driving me nuts Please helllpppp!!!!!!!!!
