The sports-touring Honda CBR1000F was always in the shadow of more exciting motorcycles, yet had a decade long production run. It had its good points, such as a comfortable riding position, good build quality - except for early camchain tensioner problems - and respectable handling. But the Honda CBR1000F is so bland it makes Katie Melua look like a brazen rock chick.
My CBR 1000F-M will need a new exhaust system soon. What do people recommend? Nexxus? Predator? etc. Any particular ones to avoid? Toga

hi all, new here and have a question. I need to remove the carbs off my 1994 CBR 1000f and it looks like you have to remove the airbox first. How does the airbox come out?
Hi to all just got my new (1992) CBR1000F in Dec 2005 from a Honda Dealer for %XA3 1800 (is a local bike sold by them from new) with a service history of 22.000 mls and in new condition has never got wet, with a new battery, tyres and a custom seat fitted when new. I got the Haynes book so can E.mail pages for your repaires if not too many of you. I am not goin to tell which tyres to fit is all down to preferences and style of riding . But for the oil is got to ...

Honda CBR1000 FT 1996 20,000 miles Black, Grey FHSH Tax till 01/06 Mot until 05/06 Excellent condition. Bodywork is pristine except for a few scuffs. Mechanicals including engine are perfect. There are a few small patches of rust on the exhaust cans and the is a little paint flaking off the rear wheel. I flogged my CBR at the weekend. A bit of a wrench, but I just wasn't doing enough miles to justify keeping it. I'll be commuting on my ageing FZ750 for a while and will probably buy a FireBlade later in the year. Best of luck to everyone, keep the jellymoulds flying! Gavin
