Biggest and blingiest of the retros. Plus the Suzuki GSX1400's engine%X92s got the most low down torque by a decent margin. If you want a 70s style motorbike that%X92ll do everything except cruise at illegal speeds or lap race tracks at a searing pace the GSX1400 is well worth a look. hi, just thought i would say hello, seemed to be a good place to do it cos i have a 14
Hi there ! It time the tyres nee changing on my 14. The back is getting thin and I have zero confidence in the 020's. I have come from a zx7r with 010s and the difference is incredible. The back end steps out all the time with minimal power on the 14 and its ruining my fun. Im thinking of the new battlax 014's... any comments ??
An answer to all these questions can be found at www.gsx1400.org regards, Mick.
Cheers
Anyone fitted a 4-2-1 akrapovic and power commander ?? Any feeback ? Cheers
The reason I ask is that I was at http://www.jhsracing.co.uk/ getting my race bike dyno'd on Saturday and he was just finishing setting up a GSX1400. I think he'd done a fair bit of work to it but it was putting out something like 140bhp at the rear wheel and something stupid like 99lb ft of torque! Made my 400's 72bhp and 27lb ft look pretty pathetic.... So, what do these things make as standard?
where can i purchase a fork fairing for the 1400. a company called tcp aerodynamics make one but i cant find who is selling them!
