any thoughts on this???????

Last August my poor RF was out all night in one mother of all downpours when I was in France on holiday with no cover or garage to shelter her under :-( The following day she started and ran fine exept for the yellow fuel light and red oil light that have been on ever since exept for a couple of occasions when the have gone out and come back on after about 1/2hr or so. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as to what to check for and where to look.

Speedometer cable

I've just had to fit the second new speedometer cable in two years which seems excessive. Is this a weakness in RFs or am I just unlucky? R

USD Fork Conversion

Hi there. Have any of you guys tried fitting USD Forks to your bike? If so then which ones will fit? I've seen a few 1200 Bandits with the mod and think that maybe they use the front end from a Hayabusa. Any of your thoughts on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Help required

Hi there,i am thinking of buying an RF900 and need some info. Are they reliable? Are they comfy on a long run 1&2 up? Do they handle ok? What are the brakes like? Best tyres? How heavy? Chain and sprocket life? Oh you know what i need to know come on lads and lassies, convince me that i need one. I currently have a Bandit 1200S with ABS that i have had for 4 years,it has full luggage fitted. I tried the link to earlier threads but all i got was some crap about online poker. I live in Mitcham Surrey ...

Bleeding brakes

Hopefully this isn't the start of a long hot summer of stupid questions but here goes. The rear brake caliper on my bike has two bleed nipples. These are shown in the workshop manual but not explained. Why two? Which do I use when bleeding the brakes? Happy riding. R
