Its E marked, TUV tested etc and sold as road legal. BUT.....new MOT rules effective June 04 state quote" A silencer that is in such a condition OR is of such a type that the noise emitted is clearly in excess of that which would be produced by a similar machine fitted with a standard silencer in average condition" unquote. The Kawasaki ZX-7R is proof that a motorcycle doesn%X92t have to be the latest, lightest and most powerful to be popular. The Kawasaki ZX-7R was no match for Suzuki%X92s GSX-R750 when launched in 1996 and was never updated significantly until it was deleted in 2003. But people love them and bought the Kawasaki ZX-7R because it looked great and they%X92re...
Some years ago I thought about converting the ZX-7R to a naked. I am now back on the case.Does any one know if there is a standard top yoke that will replace the standard yoke that will take a set of high bars. Otherwise I will have to make a new one.Steve
I need to get a new set of tyres, ready for spring. The Metzler Mez 3's that came on it are looking shot now and just wondered what other riders were recomending from experience on the 7? I was thinking possibly Michelen Pilot Sport, or even the Rennsports. Your advice would be welcome.... shanem
Can anyone help me find some rearsets for my 7R. I have looked all over the net and unless you are willing to spend %XA3250 they dont seem to exist. Even jack up plates would do??
got a p1 needs a shock. can I fit any models? how much are they? is it worth getting an aftermarket one?
Just bought a P2 on an R Plate (1998) and although the bike is fantastic, I cannot believe how poor the rear brake is. I have checked the pads, bled the systemm(several times), and it is still not good. Braided hose kit is on the shopping list but anyone else experienced this. Perhaps my old FZR had amazing brakes but I really expected more from the ZX7R !
