Hi Everyone,I'm seriously considering getting into the world of bikes as I currently do a long commute to work and back and am fed up with public transport!  Also, with no congestion charge and free parking it would be a lot cheaper too (bonus!).Anyway, I'd be looking at doing about 14,000 miles per year and was thinking of taking the CBT and just getting a CBR 125 as my main bike for commuting.  Does anyone know if these are built to last this kind of mileage?  I know that they are just learner bikes so they do little mileage but ...

Honda NSR125R (1996-2001)

The problem with the Honda NSR125R, and all other two-stroke 125cc motorcycles out there, is that the newer, four-stroke, Honda CBR125R has come along and made them look expensive and unreliable. The Honda NSR125R itself isn%X92t a bad motorcycle, but it%X92s way too dear and way too hard to de-restrict. Honda NR750 superbike styling looks great.

Honda CBR125R (2004-2010)

The Honda CBR125R is an excellent %X91mid market%X92 125. There are cheaper to buy / run bikes, like Honda%X92s own CG125 but they lack kudos. There%X92s a flotilla of fancy, mainly European motorcycles like Aprilia%X92s gorgeous RS125 but they%X92re silly money. But the Honda CBR125R's a tidy little motorcycle with a reliable four stroke engine, safe handling and brakes.
