During the warm up for the stock 1000cc race a ball bounced across the circuit in front of many riders who managed to avoid the thing. What where Wits and thingybob doing, they were talking about some crap and not looking at the race circuit. They are both very poor at keeping you informed of what is going on.Eurosport please get some decent people on TV and sack those 2 clowns.
Hey MCN, did you know that there was a WSB round in the USA over the weekend?
Just read this weeks MCN and can't believe what I have read from this joker. MCN asked about the massive WSBK crowds at Brands in the 90's and his response: "Never in Britain has WSBK had more spectators than MotoGP"Having a laugh isn't he as I was one of 120,000 at Brands for WSBK 1 year and around the same time 1 of only 27,000 at Donington for MotoGP.This guy clearly is a joke and the whole interview reminds me of 1 Iraqi foreign minister saying there are no tanks in Baghdad when in the news shot a ...
Just Back from an excellent weekend at Donington Worldsupers, fantastic racing, fantastic Sunshine, fantastic viewing, and a good weekendOnly downside is Fred Clark(course commentator and interviewer) . Ehhhh time to retire I think, all he seems to do is talk about how to pronounce the names of the riders in different languages( who cares), this was infuriating when interviewing the riders. Stick to relevant stuff Fred like the track or the bikes.
Does anyone know the best place/site to buy SBK tickets. We're going to Imola, the official site doesn't seem to list them and I'm not sure I trust other sites. Or maybe just get them on the gate ? Seem really expensive as well?
I'm going and I wondered if anyone else was. It's not that I'm looking for company it's just that I know the riders really appreciate the support.
Okay, just enjoyed WSBK at Silverstone on Eurosport but was gobsmacked at lack of spectators. Where was everyone? I gave up years ago due to cost of entry for spectators, guess it hasn't gotten any more attractive then? Moto GP is too expensive too to watch live on site, besides the cost of petrol, insurance, the bike to get there.........why don't the organisers reduce prices to attract more support, and maybe we'll come back....... there's a recession ongoing fer christs sake.....
Hi,I'm looking to go to the Nurburgring for the 2012 WSBK event in september. Has anyone been before and can sugest the best stand etc to watch the races?Ideally I'd like to walk around the track and scout out the best view point without using a stand like at Silverstone. Do you know if this is possible?I'm also looking to book camping close to the track. I've found the following website for this but can't see an option to make a reservation. Any suggestions for camping close to the track would be appreciatedMany Thanks,Mumrah182
