Switching to HID bulbs for winter

Now that winter is here I intend to change my front light on my Suzuki Bandit 650 K8 model to an HID bulb as I have found that the standard bulb is not bright enough for my winter journey to work. Save money on motorcycle kit Are there any complications in fitting this and are there any problems with the plastic lens...

tiger 1050 candle !

I've just replaced my dip beam H7 bulb with a HID jobbie. I had to do this in order to prolong my life, having ridden home from Thirsk to Pickering on the A170 helmsley TT one dark night !! The Tiger's light was like a kiddies birthday cake candle !!!! Having fitted the HID on the dip beam and a 75W H9 on main beam, i went for a ride. The first driver of a tin box to flash me when on dip got the full benefit of both lights ! he now needs a white stick !!!!!!!! Tee Heee. For info i got a pair of HID H7s from fleabay for £34.00 direct from the manufacturers (manufactory88) and it was SIMPLE to fit with no alteration to the wiring. WELL WORTH CHANGING.
