Bike won't start, battery's charged, just turns over one then the solenoid just busses at me. Any ideas what's wrong ... and where's the rectifier, can't find it to check!!

Are you sure the battery is charged, as mine was like that last year and it would sound like it was giving one turn and then the buzzing starter noise. I was charging it on an old car charger, a mate told me that it needed a modern charger as the batteries fitted to the bike only start taking a charge at 14.5 volts and the old charger was not managing that. He plugged it in to his optimate and left it for a few days and bingo it fired up first time. The rectifier is under the seat cowl. Cheers A.M.
