WENT TO THE NEC ON FRIDAY, BIT OF A POOR TURN OUT BUT THE TRIUMPH STAND CHOKA, AND THERE WAS AN `RS` NO MENTION OF IT IN THE 2005 LINE UP SO WHATS THE DEAL DO THEY STILL MAKE IT OR WHAT, AND WHAT ABOUT A NEW `RS` WITH THE `ST` PIPES? INCIDENTALY DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THE `ST` LOOKS LIKE `STITCH` FROM `LILO AND STITCH`!

Not sure if they're making any more. Certainly hasn't appeared in the official line-up for a while now. :-( Think they're hoping the new ST is sporty enough to appeal to RS owners. Triumph have promised an average 2 new models a year, so there's still some hope. '05 ST. From the front - Great From the back - bit iffy. p.s. going on a Hinkley visit next week. If I get chance will ask about the future of the RS, tho Triumph don't give too many secrets away.

I was told about a year ago that the only 'New' RSs would be in limited batches and I believe only made if the previous batch sold. The last ones I know of are the dark green ones with SSSA. I think that the RS is dead as a new model unfortunately. I would imagine that the one at the show was there to pad the stand and try and offload existing stocks. There are still new ones to be had, but I would doubt we will ever see new ones built, sad to say. Not knowing what Lilo and Stitch was I did a search and agree with your comments.

Definately won't be any more RS's Sprint production stopped some months ago. That's ST and RS. Making way for start of '05 S3 and ST production during December.
