seized caliper

I've just had a front caliper seize on a K4. The disc got really hot, actually went purple and is now a straw colour. Can anyone answer, should the disc and pads be changed?

Brake Woes

If the disc is warped you should replace it. If it is still true, it will be fine, & the discoloration will wear off with time. The pads however should be changed. Be wary of using EBC pads. They have been known to eat discs, & so could prove to be costly in the long term.
