Yes, there has been a massive forum about this topic. However, I feel the need to post my joyful solution to the problem. After contacting the big K direct I was most put off with their 'characteritic' comment. However, going to my local dealer - I've been going there for 10 years or so - they were good enough to see to a fix. Simply installing longer, heavier bar-ends cut back dramatically the vibrations. I now have to really think about changing the revs to see if there are any vibrations, and so far it doesnt appear to be returning. If you want more details on what was added just let me know. No need to trade, or sell the bike - such a simple change. Why the big K put on such silly little bar-ends I've no idea. Perhaps they'll bring this out as an offical resultion...... here's hoping. Until then my local dealer came up trumphs and all FOC. Cheers.
