Triumph Daytona 675 (2006-2008)

The Triumph Daytona 675 has put Hinckley firm back on the shortlist of many UK sports motorcycle riders, who previously rated the 600 and 650 Daytona models as being OK, but no real alternative to a Japanese four cylinder 600cc sportbikes. Silky, compact handling, allied to kick-ass engine power and a howling exhaust note, make the Triumph Daytona 675 a...

Glad i havnt baught one !

I really fancied a 675 Daytona , but the more i hear of them the more i hear of them breaking down . Only yesterday  a mint red 07 was parked up with an AA van getting ready to load it up and an hour later a bloke was tring to get his going with all his mates helping (that was a 07 as well ) On Ebay ones are for sale saying that it has had "only" minor problems, eg an exhaust valve sticking !!! Hell my friend has a 98 ZX6 he totally gives abuse and it never lets him down .

Comfort?

Just what is the 675 like to live with? Can you do more than 50 miles before your wrists/thumbs lock-up in agony?

Daytona 675 2008

I had a 07 R6 before the Tona - It sure had a lot more top end and was slightly sharper feel but Tona has plenty of grunt and lots more style and design - if I had to take one to track it be the R6 but for general road use and a bit of a rip the Tona has it all and it will turn plenty of heads - I have the 2008 black model and its a slick machine.

what a sexy truimph!

happyness is there but im nervous such a beautiful bike needs care and attention,my zx9r did not make me feel this way i just thrashed her, were as my 2008 truimph daytona 675 se in black with limited edition gold wheels and trim with only 2450 miles on the clock, perfect in every way so i ride her like a granny round town a fly with pride on the main roads,im just gona keep her wrapped in cotton until the summer then i will take her to the isle of man where my nervs should be settled to rip the road to glory, but right now i have little flash backs off crashing my zx9r,this baby the best off british i want in one piece just to carry on this feeling off a life time, most definitly more than the dream bike i expected, beautiful, reliable, cool, safe and very fast, sexy beast!!!!!!!
