BMW K1200GT (2006-2008)

The current BMW K1200GT, launched in 2006, is very different from previous generation BMW K1200GTs. It uses BMW’s latest frame and across the frame four cylinder engine which is a much faster, more stable motorcycle with more luxury.

k1200 gt

I got my k 1200 gt 2008notlong ago , its been in and out of bm a few times with engine noise, the clutch was rattling and there was a ticking noise which was very annoying to say the least.Bm have said they replaced the clutch but sounds the same(rattles) when you gear down ?.The ticking noise Ibelieve is the tappets. One must be sloppy.Under the warrenty i think there reluctant to do it , but the bike is superb to ride so i might say replace the whole cam and see if thats works but al together the bike is great .
