Brake caliper bolts

I could do with an answer to this one. It’s to do with a CBR 1000 RR 06.

Honda instructs that the brake calliper mounting bolts are to be replaced every time they are loosened/removed. I needed to put on a new front tyre the other day so had to take them off. Don’t have any new ones so all I could do was just put the ones I have back on and torque them up, but I'm now riding around wondering if I have to brake hard will they break off with OMG!!! Aaaaaagh Smash!!!! Consequences. Anyone have a thought on this. Thanks in advance.

BRAKE CALIPER BOLTS

Hi, I did the same on a VFR 800 last year after getting the wheels painted and had the tyres removed/ replaced. I used the old bolts on the discs and the calipers. The reason Honda gives is that these bolts are in a sressed area and could stretch slightly during their lifespan. This is a minutely measured size difference and I had no ill effects.
