ride height

Ride height is generally as the bike comes with standard suspension ? You can alter it a bit by adjusting the pre load at the back/and front (but this can also make your suspension harder) ? Depends if you want/need a firmer ride. Its usually short people that need the ride height adjusting, coz they cant reach the floor. You can buy shorter shocks etc.If you go too drastic,by raising rear ride height a lot, handling characteristics of your bike can alter, makes it quicker steering, but more unstable I believe. If its O.k dont mess ! Standard settings suit most people.
