Assen Motogp 08

Help me please,

Me and the wife want to know how, where, prices etc to get hold of tickets for the assen gp in june 08.

Never been to a round other than donington, so looking forward to the idea.

We want to camp, unless B&B/hostels etc are cheap and basically, to have a ticket where we are free to walk around and view the track from different areas.

I have looked for return flights from bristol on the thursday before the race and they are £125 for both of us, they return on the monday.

Please help as its got to be even more exciting and maybe cheaper than going to donny.

Tickets

Go on the moto gp web site safe and reliable and tickets are guaranteed to get you in.

Camping WELL !!! if you don't need any sleep for 72hrs and love pis**d up German's high on dope letting off small hand grenades all night it's ok, crap showers crap bogs but a absolutely brilliant atmo! you have got to get your ticket early?

hotels book NOW as it is crazy try

www.horecahotelsholland.com

www.hotels.holland.nl

www.hotels.nl

stay in Assen if you can as loads of bands etc if not Gronnegen or Spier or hoogerven

the dutch love the Britt's so you cant go wrong

but it is MANIC AT THE GP BE WARNED

you cant take in any drinks or metal tins or bottles of water and they search every one entering

But it is on the must do in my life time GP's

the only people more crazy for Gps are the Spanish or Italians (the thieving spoils Italy?)

Assen TT

Hiya,

First timer for the Assen experience too, can't wait.

I have given up on finding a hotel/b&b/hostel ! I mailed them all and followed up by ringing them, even had a load of travel agents on the case and e mailed people living in Assen that were on a forum about life in Assen!

I have eventually found a camp site called "Witterzomer" that backs on to the track and just out of the town centre.

We are flying too like you so couldn't transport everything, but this site is all set up and ready..even down to linen hire.

For tickets I have been checking a Dutch site called

www.ticketbox.nl - so far ticket prices aren't listed but the day they are i'll be booking mine :)

My only dilemma is what ticket to buy and where good vantage points are.

Good luck with your plans

Bring it on!!!!!!

Assen

Me and a mate are planning to go.

Are you free to walk around different areas of the circuit? If not, can anyone recommend some good viewing points?

Also what's the camping like? Any problems with security, etc?
