Here are all the pictures of BMW's patent design for an "uncrashable" motorcycle. The system works through a system of pivots and hydraulics to move the wheels about. Even the handle bars can be moved independently of the front wheel! Basically, if the onboard computer senses something is wrong, like a loss of grip or inappropriate input from the rider, then the system...

a safe but boring future

imagine a combination of this chassis technology with traction control. Run MotoGP with this stuff and any old fool could run at the front. A video gamer's paradise. A bikers nightmare?

Unthinkable & Unafordable

What next will the beemer nerds come up with. The BMW range of bikes in my opinion have always been boring, and out of the price range of most ordinary people. Leaving the boring toffee nosed riders to ponce around on, pretending they can ride. I should think this latest contraption will be right up there ally. I can only dream what this thing is going to cost. Thousands and thousands of $$$$$$$$$ and imagine the servicing cost of such a contraption. Next time you are at your dentists or lawyers or accountants and the likes your account will will be somewhat inflated. So as to help purchase this abortion of a bike, for the chosen few to be able to purchase. Give up on the thing I say. Build a bike to compete with the Jap bikes. And make your bikes affordable to the average bloke. On an average salary. This new concept is just a joke to the real biking fraternity. And reading the text about this wobbly trainer wheeled sukker, is about as interesting as watching paint dry!! Amen.
