Ducati 999 Sub Frame

Taking the seat/tank unit off for the annual clean I have found that the stainless steal tube that takes the wiring to the back light assembly has been in contact with the sub frame at the forward end. The sub frame tubing has been worn away so that there is almost a hole rubbed in it. this of course presents a serious weakening of the sub frame and a serious safety issue. I have E-mailed Ducati UK with a report and await their response. In the meantime I recommend anyone with this model to have a check to ensure the tube is well clear of the subframe at the forward end where it turns 90 degrees to the subframe.
