MCN has lost the plot

Like a lot of bikers I know, MCN is thought of as a sensationalistic tabloid comic, rather than a serious bike newspaper but it does regularly contain the odd piece of journalistic treasure which makes you buy it from time to time.

I had anticipated such treasures this morning when I bought MCN to read about the SMC which I have just put a deposit on. However I was treated to a whole 5 paragraphs of standard waffle. I've read Adam's work before and he often writes excellent articles so I can only assume this was an editorial decision to crop most of his comments out.

Why should I buy a newspaper which will happily use double page spreads week after week to highlight sensationalism and rumour when it totally ignores the reader who simply wants to read about bikes. This week your picture of Ken Livingston is 3 times the size of the SMC review - Is that what the editor really thinks we want?

Please stop writing for attention grabbing headlines and give us some decent (and full length) bike reviews.

A reply to this would be appreciated
