Confidence crisis!

Feeling a bit silly but... been out practising today and was crap!:upset: I just want to be more bloody confident. only 2 weeks to go and I want to be better than I am.
I'm sick of comments on my size as well! So you can't get size 8 bikers then? What bollocks!
Just wanted to get that off my chest!
Out every night this week so bound to get better! :smile

Cheers xx

Junctions

Getting the timing right i think.
I'm not giving myself enough time to do all checks before junctions and because i'm out on my own I'm tending to ride and not focus on technique (does that make sense?)
Gear changes are fine but when I come to the junction I'm feeling wobbly! On a 125 as well! Doesn't bode well for a 500 does it? Not dropping bike wobbly just not smooth enough! :doubt:

Yeah

it does make sense. If your trying to cram too much into the last 50 yards it could get a bit messy. I guess give yourself plenty of time and then don't run out of steam too soon before the junction which would cause a wobble as you won't want to put your foot down short of the stop line, so you get that kind of in-limbo teetering and wobbling about. Make sure you are changing down to an appropriate gear as you reduce your speed. It's been a few years for me, I can't remember if examiners expect you to have changed down to 1st by the time you stop or not.

Nice to see you aint lost your sense of humour Barney.  Yes I crashed, but in my defence there were mitigating circumstances.  And a very hard armco barrier when hit at 80mph !!!!
