Apart from the usual clunking from the transmission, which I'm sure most post 2001 bike owners are aware of, I have now developed a "cracking" noise from the viscinity of the chain when I move away under load. I was convinced it was the chain so I fitted a new chain and sprocket kit but the noise is still there. Had it in for a check under warranty but dealer couln't find anything amiss. Before I take it to another dealer, has anyone else experienced this?
