good choice

Hi, Good choice ,I've got a GS500E, 10years old now but still good as new.Don't take any notice of the people who review this bike, they've been spoilt  riding exotic machines, I've ridden a loads of bikes in the last 40 years and this does most things well enough for me.Shame if they're not being made anymore, enjoy your riding, that's what it's all about.

Suzuki GS 500

Read comments from owners of the GS500 and it would seem that the review  by MCN is harsh! I am very much taken with this bike and giving serious consideration to getting one but I wonder who is to be believed? I am looking for a decent/comfortable ride on local roads but occassionally would need to use the M25, the MCN comments about bad handling, poor brakes and not much zip are of concern - should I be, bearing in mind that I religously keep within legal speed limits - honestly! And, what about the poor finish, rust etc. If I get one it'll be used in the dry and always garaged.
