hit and run

last month was knocked off by a hit and run wanker  the police have informed me he is to face no charges

question;   driving off/ leaving the scene of an accident,  hit and run  are they endorsable offences

the photos show how wide this road is he came 6ft in to the opposite carriageway to stop me overtaking him by ramming in to the side of the bike

Hit and run accident

Dear Singleiwish

I am sorry to hear about this accident, It is indeed a criminal offence to leave the scene of an accident. If you were injured then you are likely to be eligible for compensation from the Motor Insurers' Bureau which compensates vicitims of negligent untraced drivers such as in this case. If you are interested in pursuing the matter e-mail me and I will be in touch. Regards
