Kawasaki ZX-6R (2009-2012)

In terms of chassis and handling the new Kawasaki ZX-6R a big step forward over the old ZX-6R. The new big piston forks use MotoGP technology and make a huge difference. They take a little getting use to at first but enable you to brake devilishly late yet the bike remains stable. Engine wise 115bhp at the back wheel makes it the most powerful...

Too bad for kawasaki that a lot of people look at how the bike is doing in racing...specially since there are only 2 riders on little Z and both are well down in points!

The problem with this bike is the dealers are rubbish and the bike is way over priced. RRP of £7899 for a 600 Kawasaki? Please. That price is unbelievable in these times. Which is why I went for the 2009 CBR600RR. It felt much better to ride AND was significantly cheaper. Not to mention it will hold its value better and will stand the test of time better. Say no more.

£7,899? Pah!

I've heard the Yamaha R6 has a £9,999 rrp! At £7,899, the ZX-6R's a steal (compared)! And Kwak dealers aren't rubbish... in fact, I've found that they're some of the best! But I do agree that even £7,899 is way too much, especially in these times...
