Nothing strange about the times if you know how the three stage knockout system works in superpole.

top twenty riders of the first days practice sessions each have one flying lap on there own.

then this is cut to the top sixteen riders for the next round of superpole.

The last round has just the top ten riders.

This format is ment to make saturdays more of a interest to spectators and tv views with more of a competition.

The only draw back is riders will get less practice time, with the top ten riders having the most time on track.But all things being equal it should make riders push even harder for those positions
