Went last September for weekend with X11 Club.

THis Place is bikers Paradise! honest it is only 2hrs 30 mins from my house in Blackpool. You Go M6 Then A (M) 74

turn off for Moffat in Scottish Borders then head for Selkirk on A708  Then about 16 miles to Loch which is St Mary's Loch, and you can camp for £ 3 or £4 pound a night. They have a full size Wigwam to rent for up to 15 people And you can light camp fires as well, or

you can stay at lodge. And yes it has a bar, for those who fish it has Roach and Bream in Loch Trout in Meggot Loch up the Road. A Great Rideout is up to Selkirk and Back. i am looking to go twice this summer  for long weekends give us a bell if you fancy trip.

The area is well known to Scottish bikers and bikers from Newcastle and northern England ..we have been on runs there several times ...the cafe at St Mary's Loch is a favourite stop for bikers. :winkie:

If you haven't done it you must do the A701 north from Moffat to Broughton .... fast road with lots of sweeping bends - awesome.... and without sheep all over the place like the A708. :winkie:
