Seems like a great buy - many more people are touring i reckon - we want a bike that you can have fun on all weekend and slap a topbox on to go work with the sarnies and laptop etc in it, and for those trips into europe you need the panniers as well.

And the bike seems to look better now than when first seen - as with most thing that look crazy or ugly to start with - they grow on you and eventually become the norm - take the fat ass ford focus for instance when it arrived in the late 90's - bloomin everywhere.

ABS tourer written up here as costing £5764 in February 2009  - 2 years later it is listed on Kawasaki website as £7359, Almost £2000 hike in 2 years - guess the versys got more popular after its facelift and Kawasaki decided to "cash" in on that.
