Private Health insurance Required on Isle of Man!!!

Hi,, I know its April the 1st, but its just been announced on the TV in a serious article that the Isle of Man Government and its Health Service is moving away from the European agreement. As a result we will need Private Medical Health Insurance for any medical treatment as per Switzerland and Andorra. The presenter on This Morning with Fern said that this was no April Fool joke and it will have serious implications for anyone needing medical treatment while visiting the I-O-M TT Races or any other event/holiday.

Can MCN look into this immediately and publish if this is correct or not as it will effect a lot of motorcyclists who have previously traveled without needing medical insurance.

In some respect, I hope that it is an April Fool wind-up!
