Millebb..

Great choice mate, but i think the 600 is a bad idea and a waste of your money.

I did the exact same 6 years back, had a '98 ZX6-R and loved it. Upgraded to the Gixxer750 and still have this bike, it now has 55,000 miles on it and is going strong.

The reason I went for the 750 was cos i felt that I was really beginning to have to ring the neck of the 6R to get it to do what i wanted and so 750 was the obvious choice as i felt, and still do that buying a 1000cc superbike for UK roads is a waste of money, you will NEVER use all that power on the road. I've got 2 Gixxer750's.. a K1 & a K6 and i love 'em both.

I'd go straight for the 750 now bud, why you need a year on a 600 when you've had one for ages?? Good luck anyway mate and ride safe

sorry all wrong....

sorry guys....just go for the 1000 cc 08/09 Fireblade or ZX10R Ninja (can't comment on the 09 R1 or 09 GSXR1000)........both light, big power, handling.....ya beauty. Note the steering damper on the Fireblade is not great (if you push on rough roads!!), go for hyperpro RSC (reactive)...which I have on the Ninja....very good!!

1000cc ok!! :winkie:
