autocom vs starcom

Hey guys,

Whats your opinion on these two types of intercoms. From most reviews online they both do the job, but I just wondered what everyone prefers and if anyone has tried both.

Looking to buy one in the next fews days. I'll be using it to listen to the Mp3 and talk to the missus on the back.

Cheers,

Gavin

Erm

Only ever used the Autocom.  Noise cancelling excellent, robust and waterproof.  Still a lot of money just to hear slow down...I need the loo continuously tho'.  DB

Never used either

The only reason I take her out on the back is for a bit of peace and quiet from her constant bickering and droning

I use

autocomm active 7 smart

does what it says on the box.

It's a few years old now .. bought at the bike show when they were doing the half price offers.

Normally use it just for takling to pillion but have tried it out with both MP3 player & mobile phone.

Works great.. very clear at all speeds with excellent noise cancelling.

using the mobile was strange as both of you can join in the conversation and hear/talk.

As I've not used the starcomm I can't offer a comparison.

When I bought mine I made the final decision on price as I couldn't see any product features important to me that made one more attractive than the other.
