ST1100Y rear shock

MOT man said top and bottom bushes to rear shock on the Pan are worn/need looking at. Pan done 35,000 miles since 2003. Where in East Yorshire area could bushes or shock rebuild be done. Or would you recommend new shock, if so, which.

HONDA ST 1100Y 2003

Hi Roy

It does seem to be a bit of a shame having to replace the shock if only the bushing is damaged or worn. You could check with a Honda main dealer that has a good spares department, and ask if they can supply the bush separate from the shock. If not you could look at a second hand one,or a S/hand burst one with good bushes and use them.David Silver Spares has new ones for $179 quid.Good Luck.(got no pound sign)
