2000 YZF R1 help

Hi all, help needed....

Had a few sports bikes n the past and never bothered to mess around with any settings as im not the most technical minded.

Bought an 2000 R1 and its feels a bit hard, had a K1 GSXR1000 in the past and no worries there but after around 50 miles my back is sore with the R1.

I also feel like im fighting the front all the time when leaning into corners (no damper fitted)

I also have a 05plate XJR1300 and i feel more confident in corners than on the R1... that cant be right.

Im 5' 8" 13stone 9 years riding and yes, short ass 30" inside leg but i manage! Cuban heels on standby

Any advise on the suspension settings i should try???
